At the Haven Spa we have our heated swimming pool up and running. If you are not aware of how an endless pool works please call us or come by for a look. The water is heated to a perfect temperature neither too cold nor hot and the water is also UV purified and mineralised. This means that the amount of chlorine used is 90-95% less than in a standard pool. It’s immediately apparent when you enter the pool area because there is no smell of chlorine in the air and you don’t smell as if you have been having a chlorine bath after you have finished swimming either. One of the most popular aspects of the pool is that you book the pool when you want to use it and its all yours. There is no bumping into other people in the pool because you are the only one in it! Therefore the pool is all yours to set the current to whatever speed you like or just laze around. To set the current you are given a remote control and there is a LED display on the wall at the end of the pool to show you the force of the current. You adjust this with the control to the force you desire.
